This project began with a lifelong dream. As a teenager, our client imagined a personal library where she could surround herself with her growing book collection. Decades later, after purchasing this home with her husband, she discovered an underused space near the main entry—with a lowered ceiling and untapped potential. That overlooked corner became the perfect canvas for her vision. Today, it shines as an intimate library honoring her family and the treasures she’s gathered over a lifetime.

The existing bay windows at front yard are now transformed into a cozy reading nook, thoughtfully designed for more than just books. It’s a multifunctional corner for reading, music, gaming, or simply pausing to recharge. In the rhythm of a busy home, this nook creates quiet moments of connection, reflection, and joy.
